No decision yet on water project

Kamble also said the AMC has asked the directors of the concessionaire to start the project or face the consequences as per the agreement. "The AMC has already completed all its formalities and is now ready for implementation of the water distribution project under public-private partnership," he said. Meanwhile, opposition leader Zafar Khan said the municipal administration has failed to clear the uncertainty over the ambitious water distribution project. "We had a detailed discussion on Friday with the directors and tried to explore all possibilities to start the project," he said. Kamble said the bank had approved a loan proposal and disbursed Rs 94 crore for the project. He added that the directors of the concessionaire are involved in a legal dispute which is delaying the project.

Former Ringgold standout Schartner's move to Point Park pays off

She was Point Park's second leading scorer and third leading rebounder, averaging 12 points and 5. A 5-foot-11-inch senior guard from Finleyville who was a two-sport scholastic career at Ringgold High School, Schartner was the only Point Park player to play and start in all 32 the team's games in 2012-13. --> Emily Schartner transferred to Point Park University from The New Jersey Institute of Technology two years ago and has helped the Lady Pioneers enjoy the best two seasons in program history. Along with scoring the transfer was also second among all Lady Pioneers in made field goals (112), assists (69) and third in minutes-per-game (32), and steals (54). A: To replace the gasket u will need a torx bit. I think the size is T30 or T35. Sears has a full set of Torx bits ranging from T10 to T50. It has been a while since i have replaced a gasket for this axle. (answered by demonguy71 on May 21, 9307)

A: It's pretty easy. I'm not sure of the exact bolt size, but you will need a ratchet set to do the job. Satndard sizes should be fine. Do have the new seal on hand and ready to go on. You should also apply a bead of RTV sealant to either side of the new gasket as the seal will last longer and be more water-tight that way. Have an oil pan ready, the gear oil in there will pour out everywhere as soon as you pry the diff cover off. New gear oil is also a must. DO NOT reuse the old oil. Remove all the bolts holding the diff cover on. **IMPORTANT- make sure you remove ALL reminants of the old gasket from both the diff cover and the diff itself, taking care not to get pieces of gasket in your differential (if you do a little, no big deal)! Since you have it off, you should clean all the dirt, oil, and grime off your diff cover- it will look WAY better when it's clean. Once the cover is back on and the RTV is dry (wait at least 5 hours before driving or filling your diff with oil-the longer you wait, the better), squirt the new gear oil in through the fill plug (a bolt in the side of your differential somewhere). Fill it up until oil just pours out of the hole. Ok, there you go. Does that make any sense? It's a way easy thing to do, don't worry. Everything you need will be available at your local auto parts store. Feel free to email me with questions. Good luck!

Q:

where can i find the lowest priced lockers for amc 20 rear axles on a 1983 Jeep Cj5?

im looking for low priced lockers for my 1983 jeep Cj5 and i have AMC 20 rear axles, i can't seem to find any for under $325.... if you have any suggestions please email me
(asked by Automotiveman on December 25, 2008)

A: Don't spend your money on a locker!!! it's a AMC 20....just weld the spider gears. What size of tires are you running. On a AMC 20 i would put anything bigger than 33 or you're going to break the axles!! i have a 79 CJ5, 304, AMC 20 rear welded, Dana 44 front welded and i want to swap the weak AMC 20 for a Dana 44. so once again don't spend your money on that!!!! Take care and good luck!!! (answered by charolastra on December 25, 2008)

Q:

Can a do-it-yourself home mechanic rebuild an AMC 20 rear axle?

(asked by Gary P on July 16, 2008)

A: Why? The AMC 20 axle is about the lamest axle ever made. It's time to start thinking about an up-grade. Even a D35 is better than a AMC 20. I like the Ford 8.8 or D44 (if you can find one for a decent price).
