Thought by many as the world’s coolest spy car, the gadget-laden Aston Martin DB5 made enthusiasts drool over James Bond’s tricked-out machine in the 1964 Goldfinger film, and Dante hopes to spark that passion once again with his new work-of-art. “His reaction when he unveiled my 24-karat interpretation of this great car confirmed to me that I have succeeded in creating art that brings people great pleasure. “I was flattered to have Sir Roger Moore unveil this piece to the world,” said the artist. The 24-karat creation, part of the artist’s Iconic Sports Car series, will be unveiled at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
How much is an origional Aston Martin DB5 die cast model from James Bond 007 "goldfinger" worth?

A: I picked one of those up in London about 25 years ago and the last time I checked it was in the 100-200 dollar range. I guess condition and demand will dictate the price. I hate to say it but try E-bay. That is always a good indicatior of what people will pay. (answered by Lastdue on August 11, 2007)
