If ever a car has filled up at the Fountain of Youth it's Aston Martin's Vantage. But all the while, freshman crops of younger, hotter performance models will appear on the scene and the Vantage will, like Wooderson, have no problem holding its own in attractiveness. He's a late 20-something lowlife hanging around campus longer than he probably should, and he's referring to the annual crop of young ladies moving through the school ranks. It'll probably remain a looker ten years from now. Originally styled in concept form back in 2003, it's certainly getting on in years, but somehow its lines have stood the test of time. It's a quote by Matthew McConaughey playing the shady, but hunky part of David Wooderson in the movie Dazed and Confused.

My boss is selling me his Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Been searching throughout the net for the best quote. There are a lot insurance companies declining me because of my age (23 years old) Where is the best place for insurance for my age plus this type of car? (asked by stephen m on August 30, 2008)
A: Have you tried the comparison websites? Other than that try the yellow pages. There will be some insurers that specialise in performance cars. The downside is that because you are under 25 you will be seen as high risk - they think young so must drive like a mentalist. Yet I have seen some old duffers who really should not be on the road, totally unfair. (answered by Lynn S on August 30, 2008)

What is the difference between Aston Martin Vantage, Vanquish and the DB Series?

A: Vantage is V8 powered. It is known as the baby Aston just as the Lamborghini Gallardo is the baby Lambo.
The Vanquish is a bigger car with a V12 engine.
The DB7 was the old car, the Vanquish was the newer car.
The Vanquish is really a DB8. The DB9 is the current V12 powered Aston Martin.
The DBS is an Aston Martin DB9 with lighter weight. (answered by C7S on November 03, 2008)
