Does the Aston Martin DB9 Volante or the Maserati GranTourismo come in an automatic transmission or manual only? The Volante just means it's the convertible. (asked by Andrew B on September 20, 2008)
A: The Aston Martin DB9 Volante does not have an automatic transmisison. It is available only with a traditional six-speed stick or an automanual with steering column-mounted paddle shifters. The Maserati GranTurismo has a traditional automatic, with steering column-mounted paddle shifters, as well as a six-speed stick. And yes, Volante is Aston Martin's designation for a convertible. A: The Aston Martin does come in automatic transmission. The Maserati Gran Tourismo does not to my knowledge but I would say it does just guessing. (answered by punky on September 20, 2008)
