A: exhaust.. hmm, did u put in Catback? Cataylist converter? new headers? you get cam shafts? new clutch, new transmission, new flywheel? think about a turbo upgrade? nitrous? get better spark plugs, new ignition box, lighten up the car, you'll go quicker, buy a CF hood, light weight rims, (answered by guy who needs cheets on September 24, 2006)

I was wondering where to find the iat sensor on my audi, could you please include detailed instructions as i am not very familiar with mechanics. It is a 1997 Audi A3 8L. 1.8L.

A: On most cars, they're in the air filter box. It could be in the air tube between the filter box and throttle body (not to be confused with the MAF). (answered by vrrJT3 on February 05, 9770)

Insurance for an Audi A3 for an 18 year old driver?

I am looking to insure a 1998/1999 Audi A3 (3 door) 1.6 or 1.8l engine (not the quattro edition, just the regular) and i am 18 and a University student.
Many of my friends have cars such as Ford Ka, Vauxhall Corsa, Citroen Saxo, Renault Twingo and so on.
I am not looking for an A3 because i am a "boy racing petrol head" and i am not looking for a "girl magnet". All i want is a solid, secure and safe vehicle. The cars i have mentioned my friends have are all like seemingly unsafe and weak "tin boxes" with frighteningly little space between the back seats and the back wheel/boot space. I realise an Audi is a luxury vehicle with serious engine power but i will treat it with the respect it deserves and intend to go on my fathers policy who has had over 15 years no claims bonus. Is it possible for me to get insurance for an Audi A3 and if so for how much could i be expected to pay?

A: yeah right , so you will drive everywhere within the national speed limits, you will not dangerously over take, cut people up just because your an 18 yr old with a fast car??? you think ford ka, corsa's, saxo's are basically dangerous vehicles... an audi will not make you bullet proof or immortal im afraid. my husband used to work on the motorways scraping up accident victims and 90 % of the one who walked away unmarked were driving you so called " tin boxes ". And strangely enough the one who didnt were.... guess.............

but if you have the money to buy an audi for your fiest car your daddy can obviously afford the £3000 a year insurance that will go with it (answered by starlight on February 05, 7367)
