The $32,225 A3 didn&rsquo. ve enjoyed a recent string of Audi models, with my warmest memories reserved for a $58,450 S5 Cabriolet that proved to be an absolute delight even with the top down in February. t meet the same level of luxury, but overall I have some very positive images in my memory of this smallest Audi. I don&rsquo. t understand why I have to push the preset buttons twice to change the radio station: that&rsquo. The temp controls seem old-fashioned, and the round dashboard air vents look like they were just stuck on as an afterthought.

A: Read the sidewall of the tyre......... it'll say what size tyres they are - therefore what size tyres you need to replace them with. But if you're only replacing the fronts - I would say don't get different profiles to the back!

Audi A3 replacing 3 spoke steering wheel?
I have an audi a3 sport 2004 with the 3 spoke leather steering wheel. However, it is quite worn and I want to replace it for the same one again. Does anyone know how to do this? Will it require any coding if I disconnect the airbag?

A: Not a difficult job at all really. If you take the necessary precautions, it'll be fine. Make sure you disconnect the battery for atleast 24 hours and ground yourself. Think of handling an airbag as handling explosives because that is what they are.
You won't be using a different airbag as most steering wheels come with detachable airbags but if it is integrated, that's not a problem either.
There is no coding needed as all airbags are the same.
Since you will NOT be disconnecting the airbag while there is power to the system, the airbag ECU won't "know" you have disconnected the airbags. Theoretically, the airbag systems are powered down when the engine is not running for safety. (answered by kno11uk2001 on July 19, 2009)
