Q:

Anyone with an Audi A6 2005-Has your computer system ever frozen (navi, music etc)? If so, how did you fix it?

Audi A6 2005 computer system (i.e. navigation, radio, XM) basically all the functions of the car run through the computer freeze on the Warning message and won't move. Music won't play etc.

A: it doesnt always work, but try holding the setup, center scroll wheel button and upper right button around the scroll for a couple seconds. this will perform a reboot on your MMI system (answered by me on October 17, 2007)

A: I have a 2005 A4 S-Line and they have the same computer system as the A6s do. I've never had any problems with mine, personally. But I do know that you have to take your car to the dealer and have them run a diagnostics check on your computer. That's the only way you're going to be able to find out what the problem is. This may still be under warrenty, so it's possible that the repair costs might not be too bad. (answered by Nekkra F on October 16, 2007)

Q:

I just got a new audi A6 2005 and I cannot get the cupholder in the backseat out. Help?

How does it work exactly, I have been assuming that simply pushing on it should jar it out, like most of the other mechanisms on the vehicle, but that hasn't worked. Also is there supposed to be a first aid kit in the same compartment where the cupholder is?

I bought the car used, that is why I am curious if a.) the cupholder is stuck and b.) the first aid kit is missing
(asked by Lauren W on April 20, 2009)

A: Get a butter knife and pull it out.

I did this with my 2003 Audi TT and got it cleaned cause some sticky gooy stuff jammed it. (answered by Kuran on April 20, 2009)

Q:

Where is the oil drain plug located in a 2005 audi a6 quattro?

please be specific.
(asked by bret l on August 21, 2008)

A: About half way in the front under the car, just follow the dip stick and it is on the bottom, where the oil pan is. (answered by reneejoy30 on August 21, 2008)
