Audi RS7 Caught Without Camouflage

0 liter turbocharged V8, seen in an camouflaged S6 or RS6 Avant prototype accompanying the RS7. So far, the RS7’s been clad in heavy camouflage whenever it goes out in public, but now a camera-toting Audi enthusiast has captured a picture of what appears to be an undisguised RS7 prototype at a parking lot in Las Vegas. right now it looks like a hentai comic of intake and exhaust pipes, but given how satisfying Audi’s other recent turbocharged engines are, one prod at the gas will likely erase any ugly mental pictures that last simile created. Thankfully, Audi is hard at work rectifying the problem by developing an RS7 version, which should pack a 4. You’ll have to click on over to QuattroWorld to see the images, but if the car in question is indeed the RS7, the 550 horsepower...

Q:

Audi RS6....?

Should I buy an Audi RS6 Avant? What are the pro and cons?
If any, should I buy a different car within the Audi's price range?
(asked by molotov2123 on February 05, 3050)

A: Assuming you can afford one ...

pro: very fast!
con: German luxury car = you WILL be paying a lot of cash for upkeep

As I recall, BMW M5's are around that price. (answered by D D on February 05, 3094)

Q:

is it possible to import an Audi rs6 avant to the US?

(iv seen an rs4 avant in D.C.) when im older I want to import the avant rs6 i don't like the sedan to hot (favorite car) I think I saw one on youtube with us tags but I didn't want to get my hopes up for nothing please & thank you
(asked by quincy d on October 18, 2007)

A: I talked to a shipper/converter to get my A4 TDi S-Line imported to the states if I were to get relocated. The cost would be between $14,000 - $18,000 USD. Not only do you have to pay shipping, you have to pay customs fees, taxes (import, titles, tags, etc), conversion from Euro to US standard (lights, window glass, dash, emissions, etc), and fees to the importer UP FRONT for importing, ordering parts, labor, etc.

Because the car you're talking about hasn't been imported often enough (to have a set standard price), you will have to pay custom fees. Plus, all parts would have to be ordered direct from Audi Germany because the parts aren't available from Audi USA.

The RS4 that you saw in DC probably belonged to a diplomat that can bring these vehicles into the US without paying all that crap.

In my opinion, it's just not worth it to spend an extra half of the car's value to import it to the US. (answered by Nekkra on October 22, 2007)

A: You'd have to re-certify it so its up to U.S. standards, as event he glass may not qualify as certifiable. I've seen an example of this where a Mercedes-Benz was brought over and it took over $4000 to certify it. (answered by Brennan K on October 18, 2007)

Q:

I am in the market for a new car. Which is the best: BMW 335i, Benz E55 AMG, Audi RS6, or Jaguar S-type R?

I have had my Land Rover for a few years now and want to buy something a little sportier. Which in the list would you choose for best overall drive, reliability, features, etc? I am also considering a Porsche Cayenne turbo.
(asked by daniel b on August 02, 2009)

A: best to worst - Audi, bmw, benz, jag.

and if you're considering the porsche, you can't really go wrong with that choice. (answered by on August 03, 2009)
