The R8 has a comfortable, Audi-like ride, almost like that of the company's sedans, when you're just cruising along. The R8 can be driven like any ol' car, as sedately as you'd like. EDITOR WES RAYNAL: I shocked myself by not loving this 2011 Audi R8 Spyder with the 4. So why don't I love it. Because it doesn't move me like a Porsche 911 Turbo convertible (which, to my astonishment, costs less than this) or even an S, and for this kind of dough it should. I thought the chassis was nice and stiff for a ragtop, and there's insane stopping power that doesn't upset the chassis in the slightest.

Will an 2001 Audi S4 exhaust system fit on a 2001 A4? Particularly the Borla 14902? On an A4 Quattro with manual transmission? (asked by Jeff C on May 09, 2007)
A: i'm not positive on the answer but i don't think so. It defiantly wont work on a V6 model and i don't think it will work on the 1.8T either. The forum in the link below can be allot of help. i believe you need a Borla 14845 for the 1.8T also look at Milltek and APR. second link is to apr cat back. the 3rd link to the milltek and the last is for the Borla for 1.8T (answered by mbar3 on May 09, 2007)
A: They should swap right out, logically, being that they are the same chassis B5. The S4 in that year was a 2.7tt quatro correct? It should be a perfect swap. (answered by jonwhiting21 on May 09, 2007)

A: I like the Stromung and Milltek Exhuast Systems... but, It's really up to you since compared to OEM, they all sound good(at least to someone, eh)
you can usually find them for sale on the audi forums...doesn't hurt to buy a set someone didn't like either... especially if you end up selling it for the same reason...
