The V8 had an EPA fuel economy rating of 14 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway, while the V6 gets 17 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway cycle. 0-liter supercharged V6 swapped in place of the V8. The result is 333 hp, which is down 21 hp compared to the V8, but torque stays the same at 325 lb-ft. For 2013, the A5 and S5 received a mild makeover with a new front fascia, updated grille with angled upper corners and LED accent front lights. ROAD TEST EDITOR JONATHAN WONG: Prior to the 2013 model year, the S5 coupe was equipped with a 4. However, for the S5 coupe there was a big change under the hood with a 3. I will admit that the latter does give the A5/S5 a slick and almost sinister look at night. It's worth noting that peak torque in the supercharged V6 is achieved lower in the rev band at 2,900 rpm compared to V8 that made it at 3,500 rpm. 2-liter V8 that had a nice rumble to it and delivered 354 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. According to Audi, when equipped with the six-speed manual gearbox, 0-60 mph happens in 4.
2-litre V8 engine has been jettisoned for a lighter, more efficient 3-litre V6. The smaller powertrain was available in the cabriolet version of the S5 in prior model years, but not in the coupe. ) In deepest New York winter, the S5’s six-speed manual transmission took its time shaking off overnight cold, requiring some effort to find first gear. Fitted with the Prestige package, which brought toys like a Bang & Olufsen sound system and navigation, the tested S5 was still shod with Pirelli summer tires. But warmed through and working with the S5’s Drive Select system – a manually operated suite of settings that can smartly tighten steering and sharpen throttle response – the box inspired bouts of needless rowing, so satisfying was the shift action. That wheel, with its thick grip points and squared-off bottom, may reflect the most tactile change to the S5 for 2013, but deeper developments are afoot, according to . . A 4. Being a grand tourer, the S5’s objective is to transport its...

A: The basic CTS runs about $41K. Consumer Reports lists nearly every Audi as a car to avoid.
Look at Infiniti or Lexus models if you want something in the $35K to $65K range that will turn heads and last a long time. (answered by Huba on November 15, 2008)
Q:
A: You cant get the factory unit as it has to be pre-wired form the factory. You can, however, get an aftermarket backup camera that you can mount anywhere, even the same basic location as the factory unit. I don't believe that anyone has come out with the install kit to hook it up through your MMI unit though. So it will most likely have to have an external screen somewhere in the car. I know there used to be a company that played around with the MMI screen from the older A8's to hook up a factory deleted TV unit that uses a coaxial cable (the same as the back up cameras), but I don't know if anyone actually came up with a way to do it. I believe they were based out of the United States too. (answered by Kevin J on July 03, 2009)
