Q:

What is the difference between an Audi A8 and Audi S8?

I'm just wondering, what is the difference between an Audi A8 and Audi S8?

What are the benefits of one or the other? I'm confused by the S Series and A series, i thought they were one in the same, but what exactly are the differences? Which one is better?

Thanks for the help =)
(asked by Dan on January 27, 2009)

A: The S8 is a sportier version of the A8. They are essentially the same car it's just the S8 will have a few subtle cosmetic differences i.e. bigger wheels, silver wing mirrors etc. it will however have a much more powerful engine. It will also be a little bit more "driver focussed", so it will have better suspension and will handle better.

The S8 is a better car than the A8, however it really depends what you want. the A8 is a perfectly good car on it's own. It's luxurious, safe etc, but if you want all that plus some performance then you would go for the S8.

Hope that helps (answered by Me!!! on January 30, 2009)

A: s8 is more luxerious, the s stands for sport tuned im not sure about the a8 but the a4 is smaller in size then the s4
a4 has a 4 cylinder and s4 has a v8. (answered by marm on January 27, 2009)

Q:

How to remove tires/wheels from a 1998 Audi S8?

Is there a wheel release of some kind on a 1998 Audi S8? We are trying to take the tires off the Audi and just won't budge. Maybe there is a release latch of some kind? No owners manual in the car. Thank you
the lug nuts have been removed

Q:

How can I make my boss fall in love with me so I can drive his Audi S8?

It's not enough I get rid of bodies for him apparently.
(asked by Polly Ester (Punky redux) on August 14, 2008)

A: Ain't he like 88 years old. Bad toupee, suspenders and bowtie. Smells of tuna and stale beer. He's a catch. Slip some peach schnapps in his coffee. Then when he needs to be driven home, volunteer. It's not your fault, that on that sharp curve the door popped open and he fell out. The cops will understand that you were so shaken by the events, that the only way to calm yourelf was with a 3000 mile drive. (answered by dark bubble on August 14, 2008)
