Austin Healey on his love of fake tan

HE MAY have shot to fame as a rough, tough rugby player, but Strictly Come Dancing put Austin Healey in touch with his feminine side.

He was quick to embrace all the Lycra and sequins – and admits he became addicted to fake tanning.

Which is why he’s delighted he now has an excuse to go back into the spray tan booth and bare his buff torso on TV again.

Austin is putting on his dancing shoes – and taking Erin Boag back in his arms – to compete in the Strictly Christmas Special, a highlight of Christmas Day viewing on BBC1. He’s joining Gethin Jones and Rachel Stevens to take on three of this year’s contestants.

And he’s also back on the dancefloor in January as the Strictly live tour travels around the country.

Q:

Can a third seat be fitted into an Austin-Healey sprite?

Can any Austin-Healey Sprite MK II or later be modified to accommodate three people? I'm absolutely in love with these cars, but the exclusively two-seater accommodation is very restrictive.

A: The question is academic - it wouldn't pass it's MOT even if you could fix one - and seat belts don't work well on the roof!

A: where would you find leg room for the third person? if that isn't a issue(they have no legs) yes you can fit a seat just don't hit anything while mounting it. (answered by Tom C on September 07, 4301)

A: Yes he does ... when the competition started I had no idea who he was (I'm not really into sport of any kind) and I thought Tom and Mark were the hunks and Austin was quite average but since he has shown his lovely personality (and his guns!) he has grown more and more attractive over the past few weeks ..... I thought he looked pretty damn hot in the Rumba. He has a nice ass. ;-)
