1963 Studebaker Lark, 170ci 3 speed trans. Will a 1960 flathead, overdrive trans work on the 170ci overhead ??

A: I'm going from memory, but as I recall everything should hook right up . Studebaker just converted the old flathead to overhead valves. I've owned Studies with the flathead and the ohv six. Good luck. (answered by ronhawk62 on September 11, 2007)
A: Yes, I put a '60 tranny on a '61 OHV engine. If you don't currently have overdrive, you'll need to hook up the manual cable control and get the switch and throttle linkage to operate the OD solenoid. You better keep in (answered by bikinkawboy on September 13, 2007)Q:
