After three hours of racing and 19 laps completed at the Nürburgring it was again the Ferrari leading the race, now ahead of the Manthey Porsche #9 and the Mamerow/ROWE Racing Mercedes #30. Just before the end of the hour the BMW’s came into the pit which meant the Hankook Team Farnbacher Ferrari was back in the lead after seven laps. The Hankook Team Farnbacher Ferrari was beaten off the line by two Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG but after pit stops, problems and overtaking actions it is the Manthey Racing Porsche 911 GT3 RSR that is in the lead. Twelve hours into the ADAC ZURICH 24 Hours of the Nurburgring we have a different leader of the race than we had at the start. With only light drizzle at the start of the race the Nordschleife began to dry rapidly and soon after the teams started to come in to the pits to switch to slicks.
