A: i have a 2003 3 series convertible.

idk what the 1st guy to comment is talking about LOL

i just push and hold a button and it goes down.

the button is located right under the cig lighter
closesst to the drive and above the shifter (answered by The Captain on February 11, 2252)

A: There should be a latch on each side of the top where it comes in contact with the window frame. Unlock those and put you windows down and push the button that moves the top.

I think you can download the manual online I did a quick search for it.

Q:

So how much money should I make a year to buy the BMW 3 Series convertible that costs approximately $41,000-$4?

Just wondering how much money I should make a year to even consider buying this type of car. Additionally, the BMW M3 runs around $73,000 so how much would I need to make to buy that!?? But thanks for your answers on both!
(asked by Dr. Joel M on February 11, 8262)

A: Your monthly car costs (which includes your car payment, insurance, gas, etc.) shouldn't really exceed 20% of your total income. A $40000 car with no money down is going to have a monthly payment of roughly $650/mo for 72 months assuming an APR around 5%. Assume insurance is going to be another $100/mo on top of that, and gas another $300, and you're looking about $1050 a month in total expenses for the car, meaning you should be making a little over $5000 a month, or a little over $60000 per year. I personally wouldn't spend more than a tenth of my income on my car (they don't go up in value). If you're going to get a BMW, it's actually a smart idea to lease one. It's cheaper than buying it and you don't have to deal with the shop bills once it's out of warranty (and worth less than half of what you paid for it!) and they frequently include your scheduled maintenance as part of the lease payment. A: good rule of thumb is not to spend 1/4 of your salary on a car. what i would do is save up about 15-30% for a down payment, and finance for 60 months. don't forget the title and tax (answered by n_knipp on February 11, 8582)
