Q:

BMW 318 M SPORT?? does it has the exact same M3 body kit on a normal 318 saloon?

hi all, im 21 years old and i want to buy a sporty looking BMW, E46 series. as i cant afford the M3, i would like the 318 m sport..and im wondering if this model has the exact same body kit as the real M3 model? also would it be possible for me to later add 4 exhausts and a M3 badge to the 318 m sport to make it look like a real BMW M3?
by the way i live in the UK...just want to to get confused with USA models thanks.
also i have noticed that in the new series, 2005 onwards they call it the M sport...but the old e46 is only called for example the 318 sport? is this true? wats the difference?

A: The new 3 Series M Sport Package is not exactly looks like M3 but you get same Steering Wheel with Paddle Shift. Actually it looks pretty good as well....

The E46 3 Series Sport Package looks the same as the E46 M3....I don't know how to describe but its really looks alike.... (answered by Faeze78's on January 06, 2009)

Q:

BMW e46 a/c change?

Ok I read quite a few blogs on how to refill a/c with R-134A REFRIGERANT.
Recommendations are simple
wear gloves
find a low pressure port
connect the kit
make sure you test run it for a sec to avoid putting air into the system.

Ok, I got the kit.

But the tutorials were for an older BMW models, so pictures do not exactly match.

In my 2002 330xi (e46 body) low and high pressure ports are not close to each other, and I do not want to put refregerant to places where it does not belong.

Can some-one confirm that the low pressure a/c port 1 I found is really what I am looking for.

Thanks
So did I depicted it there as Port 1 correctly?

A: Check with any auto zone or Kragen, etc. and they will show you. Low pressure port is after the thermal expansion valve and evaporator in passenger compt., but just prior to the compressor. (answered by gary o on June 10, 2008)

Q:

Bmw E46 M3 VS 330ci What one should I invest in?

I'm looking into getting a BMW. I've come down to two models. The e46 M3, and the 330CI.

If I get an M3 I wont have much option in customzing it.

If I get then 330CI (which is much cheaper) I'll be able to get a body kit, rims, super charger, exhaust system and lower it. Basically it will (look) like an M3, but wont have the power.

What should I do?
(asked by Kenworthjay on October 28, 2007)

A: get the M3 as it is...
or get the 330 Ci and also don't invest more money into it. It is fast enough and looks amazing. I had a 2001 330 Ci and it has been my favorite car ever. No need to modify it at all. But if you're so into performance.. well get the M3. I wouldn't. for performance, get a Porsche or a M5.

good luck and have fun shopping (answered by GreenEyes on October 28, 2007)
