Hi there I was wondering if anyone knew is the 3 series e46 bmw touring sport rear bumper the same as a saloon?

I need to replace my saloon sport rear bumper but am not sure if the touring is the same.

A: You mean, does the e46 M3 bumper cover fit the e46 330 or 325ci? No. The M3 wheelwells are flared. You'd need M3 quarter panels as well (the trunk is the same). The M3 bumper cross member is also different (carbon fiber), so there may be mounting issues also. (answered by M3Owner on November 15, 2006)

A: The best way to be certain is to go to www.realoem.com,
put in your 316i's VIN number, and look for the part number/s.

Compare it to one from a coupe.

I do not believe it will fit. The coupe actually is slightly wider than the saloon. But check it out anyway. (answered by Snowie on January 24, 2008)
