Q:

Instructions on how to replace 2001 BMW 318i E46 rear Fog Lights?

I was wondering if anyone can give me detailed instructions on how to change the rear fog lights of my 2001 BMW 318i E46.
If you cannot explain in detail, instructions of how to remove the cover to access the bulb would be greatly appreciated. (I know how to change/access the brake lights etc but the fog lights are not together with this part)
Thanks for answering!

A: The abopve answer is incorrect. The link is not for a BMW car. I would contact BMW service by phone and ask. I have before and they are very good at explaining. DO NOT take your take to BMW service at they will insist on doing it for you, thus charging you! (answered by qpr26 on August 25, 2009)

Q:

How can I fix my shift lights for my bmw e46?

Hello
The small orange lights that light up the gear your shift is on (P-R-N-D etc) are all messed up, the wrong ones always turn on and I wanted to either fix it or disable those shift indicator lights if possible. Thank you

A: Buy a new plastic shift plate. Just pull up on gear knob and unsnap plate. About $50. New again. (answered by oneurbanite on April 12, 2007)

Q:

How do you connect fog lights to 2002 bmw e46 318i executive? Can't seem to find the wires or plugs.?

Also the fog light hole cover doesn't seem 2 pop out. :(

A: Hi Chewy,
www.realoem.com is a web site for BMW owners who want to find the parts and you can print the diagrams out and take them with you, also, when you go to the web site there is an enter button, when you are in the site put the last seven digits into the boxes and the system will show you the details for your model of car and if you browse the parts part you would find that fog-lights would be shown or not shown if there is a wiring loom fitted or not depends on VIN number as to whether it has the already installed wiring harness's or not,if not it would possibly show a accessory part or parts for fitting fog lights,or your Local dealers would be able to tell you if you visit them and ask BMW dealer ships are remarkably friendly normally as they want you to come back, hope this info is useful good luck Cheers Spiker44 (answered by Spiker44 on February 09, 1336)
