Where can I find a body kit that makes a e30 BMW 3-series look like a e30 BMW M3?
I'm assuming you only need these parts: e30 M3 front fenders, e30 M3 sideskirts, e30 M3 F/G rear quarter panels. So where do I find some of those?

Can a BMW E30 M3 engine fit into a 1981 BMW 320I frame?

A: Yes, it'll physically fit. Although the E21 was only sold in the US with a 4-cylinder engine it was also made with a 6-cylinder (including the revered 323i), so another 4-banger will fit relatively easily. I've seen these motors in 2002's as well.
The E30 M3's S14 motor, while a great engine, is notoriously high-maintenance. The E21, rightly or wrongly, is also one of the least well-regarded BMW's. possibly because it was the replacement for the revered 2002. Be sure you know what you're getting into!
Companies such as Ireland Engineering and 2002AD are likely to be good resources for you with this project. The online parts database, realoem.com is also a terrific resource. (answered by Martin B on June 13, 2009)
