While not a sales success, the classic good looks of the pricey Continental influenced good auto design for decades. The Thunderbird went on to be a bird of a different feather when the stylish and popular two-seater was replaced in 1958 by the even more popular four-seat "Square Bird." As one voter commented, "It is no coincidence that some of the same guys who designed the Mark also put effort into the Thunderbird." It could almost be said that the only car receiving five votes actually got eight. How's that, you say? The 1953 Raymond Loewy-designed Studebaker coupe was the car receiving five votes, but the 1956-61 Studebaker Hawk received three. Many of you may know that Studebaker designers, on a shoestring styling budget, used the basic shape of the highly regarded '53 and successfully transformed the car into the stylish and sporty Hawk coupe and hardtop in 1956. A: It looks like 64, 65 & 66 are all same body on Skylarks, and from the images I've found, it appears as if the front grill and bumper will fit on your 64.

I see the bumper on eBay, it says it's for 64-65. The grill only says 65, but I'm pretty sure they'll both work. Good luck! (answered by ற¢ԲèişŦվ on March 28, 2008)
