2000 Chrysler town and country LE question on how to replace both front light bulbs?

I need to replace the low beam light bulb on my 2000 Chrysler town and country le and i need to know how i can do this?

A: The light "capsule" is accessed from the engine compartment. Raise the hood and locate the wiring for the bulb you want to change. Rotate locking ring 1/4 turn counter-clockwise and slide off capsule socket. Gently wriggle socket as you pull out of headlight housing until capsule is clear. Remove capsule from socket and replace with new capsule. Installation is reverse of removal.

They can be a pain in the butt to remove sometimes but they do come out, take your time and be careful. They only fit into the housing in one position so align tabs carefully. (answered by Don't know everything ! on January 24, 2009)

2000 Chrysler Town and Country transmission problems?

I have a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country when I first drive it its seams to drive good after awhile it starts to make a squealing sound and then won't drive until I let it sit for awhile anyone have any ideas what could be wrong

A: Torque converter could be on its way out. I'd pull the tranny dipstick and see what the fluid looks like. If its burnt and smells you might be sol. Also has the fluid ever been changed? (answered by Ben J on February 02, 2008)

A: make sure the tranny is full of fluid and if it is the tranny has gone out and will need replaced. (answered by mister ss on October 31, 2009)
