Q:

Chrysler 300 srt8 reliable or not?

I'm thinking of buying chrysler 300 SRT8.It is a top of the line chrysler sedan, but keep getting second thoughts regarding it's reliabilty. Are American cars of this day and age still unreliable compared to Asian cars ?
(asked by Evtm on January 17, 2007)

A: I work for Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep dealer.. I haven't seen any SRT8's (Grand Cherokee,300,Charger) come in with any problems. It is based on the smaller 5.7 Hemi which is damn reliable since it came out. (answered by Richie Rich on January 17, 2007)

A: You are so true about that but I go to the auto show like every year cause my dad works with cars like Pontiac,Chrysler,Hummer and etc. But if you have time in Feb.stop by the auto show cause the car that you want is on the floor and you could drive it on the track that's pretty cool right. But majority of them are reliable. (answered by jermiah l on January 17, 2007)

Q:

Is the chrysler 300 srt8 worth it?

is the 2009 chrysler 300 srt8 worth it and is it reliable
(asked by Salvadoreno on August 13, 2009)

A: Worth it... Yes, its very fast if your into that you will love it, the Hemi will dominate the road and the 300c is a pretty nice looking car, i would buy it but im not sure of the reliability of it...., since I would look at a 2008/09 infiniti G37s They are basicaly just as fast with 1/2 the engine size and are much nicer and about 10x more reliable (answered by on August 13, 2009)

Q:

is a chrysler 300 srt8 worth buying?

i was thinking about buyin this car . is it a good car.
(asked by John H on January 23, 2009)

A: depends on where you live, I wouldn't buy one because I live in Minnesota and it would suck in the winter, but I see a few of them (300 srt8, charger srt8, magnum srt8) driving around. If you are willing to spend that much money ($42,000 MSRP for 2008 with no options) on a car that has decent power (425 hp, 0-60 in around 4.7 sec) and horrible fuel economy (13 city, 18 highway) go for it. I would probably rather go with a BMW 528i. Relatively the same price ($44,600 MSRP for 2008 with no options), less power (230 hp, 0-60 in around 6.9 sec) and better fuel economy (18 city, 28 highway), plus I think the BMW looks alot better. If you think it's worth it, get the srt8 (answered by Kyle B on January 23, 2009)
