First Drive: 2011 Volvo C70 T5 - MotorTrend Magazine June 15, 2011
there's one from Mazda (the Miata), and briefly, pre-Fiat Chrysler had two, the Sebring and the Crossfire. The previous C70 was sold as a coupe or a cloth-top convertible, and this change back in 2008 gave buyers the best of both worlds.
Maserati To Build Its Own Version Of Alfa Romeo 4C: Report - Motor Authority (blog) May 25, 2011
By Bill Burke #1, Posted: 5/25/2011 The burning question for me is if there is a possible spin off for Chrysler. As a two Crossfire owner, I know first hand how successful this arrangement with a high end family platform can be if done correctly.
"To be honest, I really like the idea of a Chrysler Crossfire Coupe," he says. "I always remember the first one I saw, bright red and parked outside the vegetable shop, it made quite an impression on me. ". And in his new situation, what says "singles lifestyle" better than a Crossfire. First, a bit of background on the Crossfire, sold here in relatively small numbers as both a coupe and convertible. A product of the now also divorced Chrysler/Daimler-Benz relationship, the Crossfire was similar to the much more expensive Mercedes SLK and shared many of its components, including engine. Recently divorced and starting afresh, Garth figures he needs both a different image and a new car to go with his newly acquired thirty-something singles lifestyle. Garth has sort of made up his mind, but needs reassurance and would like a couple of alternatives, just in case. The dilemma:. Actually, no choice there.
Q:
A: X2 on the picky owners and small complaints!!! its all mercedes under the chrysler badging. so if you like the benz you will love it. i actually think the crossfire is a sexy car, better than the benz but thats just my .02.
only drawbacks is that there will usually be a delay on parts. my dealership rarely works on them, and we have sold a few...but we never keep parts in stock (higher cost of parts) (answered by chevy_man_rob on September 29, 2007)

A: I have one and both my husband and I drive it. He has no qualms about it and actually enjoys driving it! I know several guys who wanted one, but were too tall to be comfortable in it. It is a sports car and not a girlie car. (answered by suzb49 on February 11, 8024)
