Preuve du sérieux de l’initiative, il y a officiellement un CEO de nommé pour SRT et l’heureux élu est Ralph Gilles qui est très apprécié par les amateurs des autos du groupe Chrysler, j’imagine bien que Marchionne le sait. SRT fera de même avec Chrysler, Dodge et Jeep alors que jusqu’à présent, c’était un simple niveau de finition avec, il est vrai, une mécanique un peu costaud. Abarth travaille de façon indépendante (du moins officiellement) sur les Fiat (et potentiellement Alfa Romeo et Lancia) et propose des version survitaminées de modèles déjà existants sous son propre nom et avec son propre logo.
would a supercharger of a Chrysler crossfire SRT 6 work on a Chrysler crossfire base edition ?
I have a 2005Chryslercrossfire the base edition and i was wondering if a supercharger off of a crossfire srt 6 would work on my car they both have the same engine V6 3.2. (asked by islam s on October 05, 2009)
A: The short answer is this yes it will work, poorly. the SRT models especially the supercharged models have a performance computer that monitor intake and exhaust performance through the emissions system,and the valve train also has to be improved for optimum performance . the factory units will work if removed and balanced as well as some light port matching and machining, witch is usually done at the SRT shop, that is why all srts are finally assembled in the Michigan facility where the factory techs do the final assembly after dis-assembly. on your model I think they also replace the exhaust vale springs with heavier ones tuned from the factory for less parasitic loss of power and optimal performance (answered by dakota97slowpar on October 05, 2009)

A: No, it did not come with a manual option. They used a Mercedes 3.2 liter supercharged engine, with a 5 speed automatic only.
