Q:

Our digital clock on the stereo system of our 2007 Chrysler Sebring car is too fast ?

We have a 2007 Chrysler Sebring, and with the stereo system that comes with the car, the time on it always seems to speed up. We have to keep resetting the time because it gets ahead. How do i fix this?
(asked by Ella Dummet on March 20, 2008)

A: go to your dealer. there is a tsb for this problem. the wireless control module controls the clock functions, and the software needs to be reprogrammed. you will be in and out in less than a half hour. (answered by sprinkles on March 20, 2008)

A: I own a 2007 Sebring and my clock is too fast too, and I'm tired of resetting it. So rather than complain to the dealer, I just use the other nice round clock that's built into the dash. You can also push the info button on the radio and just use the name of the song features instead of trying to rely on that stupid clock that does not tell the right time. I am also like you and sick and tired of resetting that dog gone clock!!!

Q:

Is a 2007 chrysler sebring sedan able to connect with subs without putting in a new head console?

I just got some subs and im waiting to get a box but my friend and i cant figure out if we need to put in a new console in the front for them to work, or if the sebring's system that it already has will work itself.
(asked by mike m on December 20, 2008)

A: You should be able to hook them up to the existing console. I have a 2005 Chrysler 300 with subs, and the factory radio. It hooked up with no problems. (answered by Joseph B on December 20, 2008)

Q:

My 2007 Chrysler Sebring is eating gas what could it be?

Its a 2.4 i4 VVT Gema World Engine. The car runs like a bull and its unusually fast for a sedan. But I feel like its eating to much gas. I was thinking because it doesnt have any low end torque. It wants to switch at 3000rpm or 2500 rpm. But even At 2500 rpm it automatically down shifts as if it wants more gas. Any suggestions?
(asked by ohhellyeah123 on February 11, 6521)

A: Many many factors can cause poor mileage. I would check the tire pressure all the way around the car. make sure the tires are inflated to the manufacturers recommended pressure. Next i would inspect the air filter. If it is darker than a light grey I would replace it with a high flow air filter such as a K&N or Fram Air Hog. Then move on to the spark plugs. Pull one out and inspect it. if it looks worn or cracked, if it has a brown glaze on it, you are running a very rich mixture but your OBD-II system should have thrown a code for something like that. Is your "check engine" or "service engine soon" light on? If so you have trouble codes that should be read and delt with asap. You mention that the transmission is behaving a way you think it shouldnt. Have the transmission fluid and filter changed. This should be done around every 15,000 miles. You mention little low end tourque which is indicative of needing basic maintenance. Your timing could be waivering due to a stretched timing belt or chain. Also your mass air flow sensor could be dirty. No need to buy a new one, just go to your local auto parts store and buy a can of mass air flow sensor cleaner. about 8 to 10 bucks but well worth it when you compare to a new sensor. Hope this helps you (answered by Gobyknows on February 11, 366)
