Walk around of my 63 datsun pickup, with a crappy camera but oh well. 1.2 liter 4 cylinder, 60 hp, 67 ft lbs of torque. lowered via torsion bars ...
Yet for every single one of those low-slung luxury cars there are a handful of cars like mine, ones which lost the beverage war long ago – to kids wielding a cup of milk, piles of stickers or – even worse – something chocolatey. Like it or not, the Eastside’s infrastructure was built on a love for the very same thing – the Car Almighty. Sure, there are folks who simply view a car as a device to get them from Point A to Point B, but there are so many more who feel an attachment to these infernal machines. These cars exist, thrive decades after being built, and are far more common than the $85,000 Mercedes who cut me off yesterday on Northup Way. Bellevue and other Eastside cities are known for the presence of shiny leather-lined chariots – each one bristling with style and glimmer. I make no excuses for my love of old cars. A: Start with a good tune-up. Everything, points, plugs, dist. cap, rotor button and wires, also, new filters all around, fuel air and oil. I can't remember if Datsun had PCV valves back then but check. Check your clutch and your brakes but tune-up sounds like the first choice. Good Luck (answered by pawbear53 on November 09, 2008)
A: one of my best cars ive own anyway most likely its a plug or wire bad so id say give it a complete tune up and replace fuel and air filters might even want to add a fuel treatment the way gas has been here the pass few months most likely a fuel thing (answered by kelly_f_1999 on November 09, 2008)Q:

A: What a great idea for a conversion. The intercooler would be the least of the fabrication problems, after the motor mounts, transmission mounts, driveshaft, and wireing. The stock radiator probably would not work either. That being said, take your time, spend some time researching the motor and peripherals, and scour forums and Datsun fan sites for info. I think if don't try to rush it, and take one step at a time, it will be an awesome ride you can be proud of.
