A: If it is using as much oil as it does gasoline, if it is rusty and dropping the ocassional body part onto the freeway, if you have to use a couple of dozen explicatives to curse it while you are trying to start it, then yes, it's a piece of crap.
If it still runs decently, it gets you safely from point A to point B, gets reasonable fuel economy, it is safe to drive, then no, it is not.
It may be good enough to drive, but I wouldn't try to getting it on to "Overhaulin'" for a complete restoration job or put a lot of money into it if the engine or transmission goes out.
If you have to put a lot of money in to it to keep it running and road worthy, then, it is a piece of crap! (answered by Shaula359 on January 11, 2006)
