Where would I find plastic to cover my blinker for my 71' datsun pickup?
I have a 71' Datsun 1600 pickup, that I recently bought and its extremely hard, to find parts for it because it,s so old and rare. Is there anywhere I could find the plastic piece that covers the blinker? Maybe an online site or something. I tried Ebay but no luck. I'm desperate, please help! Clear Lucite with amber bulb? and keep looking at campers clearance lights and other places Try "blackdragon.com" Many early Datsun parts were used on more than one car like 510 sedan turnsignals lenses B210 car and pick up as well as Z cars. I have a 1970 Datsun 1600 pickup truck that has been sitting for 10 years. It was my brother's who died and have kept it and trying to rebuild it. I know it needs an engine and electrical work but I need to know about the engine first. What kind of engine can I put in it? Any info would be appreciated.... A: a 4.3 G.M. V6 with an overdrive auto. trans would be sweet , power , economy and less weight than a V8. some 80's jeeps had 4 cyl. motors that can be had for a song . get a measuring tape and cruise the wreckers , keep it neat and clean to honour your bro. good luck. Why does my 1982 datsun pickup kills when I stop with it in gear?
It is an automatic transmission, and sometimes it runs great, but other times when I stop and hold my foot on the brake with it in any gear other than neutral or park, it sputters and dies. Any ideas as to why this happens? (asked by johnpf87 on February 10, 1267)
