In 1982 my class took a field trip to a science museum in Columbus, Ohio and I was confronted by the coolest-looking automobile I had ever seen: a 1981 DeLorean motor car, the DMC-12. But this was like no car I'd ever seen before. I was a nerdy kid and had always been more interested in computers than cars. I've wanted a DeLorean since the first time I saw one in person, when I was 10 years old. It had a stainless steel finish that gleamed under the lights, and its sleek, futuristic design made it look like a spacecraft about to lift off.
Q:
A: I've got one - and the car itself (hence my login). These brochures come up on Ebay failry regularly - usually make about $30 or so. Nice item, not common but not that rare either. (answered by JZD on February 10, 6752)
A: I have one too! My father got it from the local Ford dealer (who used to sell the DMC) just as the company was going under. Unless the brochure is worth thousands I would rather keep mine as an automotive oddity. (answered by CowboyBill on February 10, 7507)Q:
A: New Ford Mustang. As long as you only go back to the 1960's and 70's, people will think you have a custom 69 Mustang. LOL. (answered by Evan W on June 01, 2007)

A: At the bottom of the Atlantic :-)
But seriously, the new DMC based out of Texas or Ebay would be your best bet.
Hope you're a really good mechanic and/or have plenty of money to toss at it! Awesome looking car though, I'm jealous! (answered by K on February 10, 3711)
