Q:

dodge challenger?

next year i will be leasing a new car after my bmw 530i lease is up. currently i have two cars in my mind one is ford mustang gt, the other one is the upcomming 2008 dodge challenger. i know that after driving a bmw, its going to be depressing to drive any of these two cars, however i am tired of paying over $900 on payments. so which car should i get 2008 ford mustang gt which is 4.6 v8 about 300hp or the 2008 dodge challenger which is 6.1 v8 about 450hp and cost between 25,000-30,000. i need honest answers from people who have own mustangs and other american cars.
(asked by araksg1975 on May 09, 2007)

A: I think your in for a difficult transition but i would go with the challenger they are both decent looking outside but the ford is very cheep inside and from what Ive see the challenger looks like it will have at least a decent interior. the 450Hp only helps its case, plus everyone and there mother doesn't own one. Mustang's are a dime a dozen. (answered by mbar3 on May 09, 2007)

A: Dodge is crap. They might look nice until they start falling apart. (answered by Mr. L.B. on May 09, 2007)

Q:

How can you make the 2009 dodge challenger srt8 weigh less?

What parts can you remove from the 2009 dodge challenger srt8 to make it significantly lighter?
(asked by Stevan A on February 10, 191)

A: Nothing will make a big difference. You'll hear some people say remove the spare tire, take out the back seat, stuff like that - taking 100 lbs off the car won't make a noticeable difference in a car that weighs more than two tons. And what would you do if you removed the spare and then had a flat?

If you want a lighter car, buy a Mustang or wait for the Camaro.

EDIT - as I expected, you did get an idiot that thought removing the back seat would be a good idea. You will NEVER notice the difference in performance, and now your 5 seat coupe seats 2. Moron. (answered by PMack on February 10, 788)
