okay i have a 1972 dodge charger i know a bulge hood would fit but what other types of hoods would fit for my charger?

A: Don't modify it --- it will cost you thousands of dollars when you sell it. These cars are just now seeing some collector intrest so try to keep the body in as original condition as possible. (answered by CowboyBill on September 27, 2006)

In Fast and Furious, what is the air system thing on top of the hood of the Dodge Charger? what does it do?

I'm just curious to know what it is? How much it costs? What does it do? How much power does it give the car? etc. any details would be appreciated.

A: This is a supercharger made for a diesel truck. It is called a "Jimmy Blower 671" It makes tons of power especially low end power. You cannot just use one of these without extensive rework (read money) of your engine including timing & carburetor as it puts a lot of stress on the motor. It forces more air in the motor thereby increasing the power. Expect to spend from $5,000 to $10,000 (answered by clncarplz on November 24, 2009)
