The "outdoor lifestyle" program is part of a marketing program for Chrysler's pickup brand that seeks to separate Ram from its competitors as part of its "Code of the West" marketing campaign. Chrysler's Ram truck brand plans to launch a partnership with Wal-Mart this fall to promote its pickup trucks at thousands of stores across America. "We recognize the alignment between truck buyers, the hunting and fishing lifestyle and Wal-Mart," Marissa Hunter, head of advertising for the Ram truck brand, said Thursday during a Web chat with journalists. The first commercial features a Ram pickup driving through the desert with wild horses and touts the truck's combination of power, with a 390-horsepower Hemi V8 engine, with its 20 m. p. g. fuel economy on the highway.
I was in an accident last night and got a little damage done to my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500.
There was some scratching on the grill and a hood that folded slightly in the front.
How much will a new grill and some work on straightening the hood cost? (asked by Dieter Veicht on June 30, 2008)
A: most body shops wont try and straiten a hood because of the heat that gathers under them,if they have to use any body filler it usually will shrink and cause the damage to be visible,so they will more than likely replace it,that and labor will probably cost around,1500-1800 on that truck,that's if they can find a good used one, a new one will be much more,body work isn't cheap anymore like it was,but id expect to pay at least 1500-2000 for this one,i hope it turns out to be a lot less,but parts are ridiculous right now for a ram truck,good luck. A: well for one thats why u should never buy that kind of stuff off ebay, u go to a junkyard and second, go to a place that does that stuff they might be able to trim it down to size! (answered by jodapo on March 12, 2008)

Would a grill from 86-90 Dodge Ram Charger work on an 84 Ram Charger?
I own an 84 Ramcharger and it has its stock grill. I dont personally care for it and was wondering if I could take a grill from say an 87 ramcharger (the grill that has the sort of '+' figure to the grill)

A: it will if you change the whole thing ,because when i wrecked the one i had the guy put a newer one in it from a 87 model, the only reason i did it though was because i couldn't find one like i needed for it,good luck. (answered by dodge man on February 10, 359)
