93 dodge ram side facing seats/ bench seats, child seat safe?

I'm looking for an xcab dodge ram. I found the perfect one, but it has the seats that face eachother in the back. I have two kids in child seats still. Is the facing seats ok for child seats? If not, how hard is it to swap out for a bench seat and where would I order such a thing/how much will it cost.

A: Nothing wrong with side faceing seats as long as they have belts...forget changeing seats (answered by Eleph on June 19, 2008)

A: No dont use the side folding seats, they are not strong enough to support the children and it is illegal to do this.

Try any salvage yard and see what you can find but remember that the seat must be bolted to the frame as well as the seat belts, also before you do this visit your local fire department and ask them if there will be enough room for the car seats and good luck..
