A CONVERTIBLE Ferrari used in a lavish wedding in North Adelaide yesterday crashed outside the church while doing what witnesses described as a burnout.

More than a dozen police officers were called to Buxton St, North Adelaide, near St Laurence's Church, after guests became hostile to onlookers.

The crash left one guest in hospital and another suffering shock.

Adam Daniele, 23, and Vincenza Ienco, 20, had moments earlier tied the knot when one of their wedding cars smashed into a Ford Escape 4WD driven by a man in his 60s.

The driver of the Ford said he had just come out of the church when he heard the sound of an engine revving.

"I was sitting in the car. I'd just come out of the church, and I'd just turned the key and I heard acceleration," said the 65-year-old, who declined to be named.

"I turned, and the next minute he lost control and ran straight into me in a blur of red."

Q:

What would you prefer: Ferrari 348 or Jaguar XKR?

I guess most people will chose the Jaguar XKR.
But for me: I guess Ferrari.

A: The 348 had many drivetrain and suspension/steering problems that Ferrari handled under warranty, but not all cars have had the updates. I'd drive a 355 over one of those any day...the 355 is a more advanced driver's car anyways, has all the updates, a better engine, and better design (IMO). The 348 is by far NOT one of Ferrari's best cars.

Yes, I'd choose the XKR. A coupe, not a convertible, with the reduction supercharger pulley. I've driven several XKRs, with and without performance modifications, and I love the way they handle. Plus, there's more aftermarket tuning accessories, available for cheaper, for the XKR.

I like to have fun with my cars. :)

A: If you also earn that much, then yes.

A: Well your dad might be able to, but I don't know if he'd be willing to let you borrow the money. It's up to you and him. But I'm sure he'd ask you to earn money yourself, too, because that's his money and he earned it and he could do otherwise with it. Sure, go for it!
