Video: Ferrari 430 Scuderia with Straight Pipes at Monza

The Italian sports car is one of the best looking members of the 430 family with its Scuderia Ferrari livery on both sides of the car and black rims. YouTube member cvdzijden recorded the most exciting Ferrari 430 Scuderia in his eyes. In the video below you will see this Ferrari 430 Scuderia in action on the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Italy. The 430 Scuderia is lighter by 100kg and more powerful with 515hp at 8,500rpm than the standard F430. The the weight-to-power ratio is reduced from 2. Increased power comes from a revised intake, exhaust, and an ion-sensing knock-detection system that allows for a higher compression ratio. 96kg/hp to 2.

Is it possible to buy a ferrari 430 scuderia with a gearbox instead of flappy paddels?
(asked by Bobb on December 03, 2007)

A: I think you can only get that an option on the European version but Car and Driver tested a F430 scuderia and sad something about the gearbox options in European vs American F430 scuds. Hear is a link

Q:

Can you order a Ferrari 430 Scuderia optioned similarly to a regular F430?

Can you get a 430 Scuderia with all the creature comforts like carpeting, a stereo, sat-nav, etc? I know it's about being pure and light, but I doubt these extra things will make the car that much heavier and slower.
(asked by J on June 05, 2009)

A: The purpose of the Scuderia is to be a high-performance track missile rather than a comfortably rapid street car, thus the reason for removing the carpeting and stereo and tweaking the powertrain in the first place. But technically, Ferrari will build you a car any way you choose to order it.

Ferrari is capable of accommodating pretty much any request a customer makes. There's one gentleman in our area who ordered a fly yellow F430 spider and had a blue top and yellow-and-blue interior custom-stitched by the factory.

I don't see WHY you would want to order a Scuderia that way, but I don't doubt it can be done. (answered by bracken46 on June 06, 2009)
