The drawings were marked "Lamborghini," and though the first Lamborghini was presented at the 1963 Torino motor show, the Torino design community had known for a while that a new Italian supercar was about to be born. "Happy Birthday father," he then proclaimed on Giugiaro's 70th birthday. Parked under some Greek temple-like stairs at the Giugiaro Design headquarters, the car sat on its period Borranis, painted in a yellow hue unseen this side of Ducati. No details, no background, but the story is simple: Fabrizio Giugiaro found some of his father's old sketches from the Bertone era (1960-1965). So what is it –- apart from a beautiful birthday present.

help!, i need 4 shocks for a 1972 fiat 850 spider.?

A: Hi

Its no big deal.
When I was restoring a Fiat 125S I needed new shocks for it.

All that was available at the time was normal oil shocks , and they were expensive.

Instead I matched a similar spec shock set that was from a GM car.
I ended up with gas shocks for half of what I would have payed for normal oil shocks.

It is likely that the Spiders shocks can likewise be matched up to something similar.

Go to a chassis and suspension shop and asks the guys to help you out. (answered by Wise Old Man on July 27, 2009)
