Italy may have lost the war, but today's Nice Price or Crack Pipe Lancia can not only be considered the spoils thereof, but is also be-spoliered, its price however, might just spoil it for you. Similarly,  today's 1976 Lancia Scorpion also looks a little hinkey- but for a very different reason - its restoration taking both a claimed $11,200, and a very personal interpretation of the Italian car's national pride. That may be fodder for debate class, but there were 61% of you willing to take the pro side for the price of yesterday's 1993 968 Cabriolet. There may have been something hinkey about that 968, its dealer-set price being so far below what  one might expect.

Q:

Where can I get a gas tank for a fiat bertone x 1/9?

I'm not sure of the year of the car, but price is no object.
(asked by dragn on October 04, 2008)

A: You must have the only one that hasn't rusted to pieces. Your best bet is the scrap yard. (answered by Henry on October 06, 2008)

(asked by godewald@sbcglobal.net on July 03, 2007)

A: 77 has points ignition, so get an electronic system on there ASAP.

What resister are you referring to????? More info please.

I love those old X 1/9's and grew up driving them and the 128's here in the USA. Started out working in shop that had a big clientel of these too.

Q:

Should I buy this X reg Fiat Punto 1.9 diesel car for £850?

My mate is selling this car. When he bought it a year ago (it had done 80,000 from 0), a few things soon went wrong with it and he took it to a garage and got them all sorted. One thing was the head gasket. Now it's got 6 mnths MOT left and it sailed throught the last one with nothing wrong. He's only done 5,000 miles in it since, and having test driven it, it seems like a really tidy car. Meanwhile, I've got an M Reg Mazda 323 1.3 (which is not so economical as the 50 mpg fiat), that I've had for 5 years now with nothing major going wrong except for your regular wear and tear. It is extremely reliable and am loath to sell it as it's never broken down on me. It had less than 40,000 miles when I bought it and now done 84,000 miles It's also got 9 mnths MOT. Which do I keep? What do I do? Good advice would be appreciated!!!!
