You Ask We Answer

Q:

How much does it cost to add a sunroof to a 2005 ford f150 lariat?

I have a 2005 ford f150 and I want to add a sunroof, is that possible first of all? and if so, about how much would that cost? thanks.
(asked by John W on June 22, 2009)

A: Indeed it is very much possible... Your best source is likely national or regional chain of automotive glass shops, such as GLASS DOCTOR. Probable cost for the back-flip up variety, manual opening, should be less than $300. You may have size limitations, though. Good luck (answered by RHR on June 22, 2009)

Q:

How to improve sluggish 2005 Ford F150 Acceleration?

I was wondering how I can improve the acceleration on my 2005 Ford F150, on a budget. I am considering buying a Flowmaster muffler ( not going all out on dual exhaust yet ) and I think that it would be a great upgrade for the money. I am not sure what Flowmaster series to get, so if you know please inform me. If there are other/better options I should be looking at, enlighten me! Thanks.
(asked by Craig on January 21, 2008)

A: Depends, I would recommend checking out the following website for more info. Great info, and more than we can put on here.

A: Check out the Flowmaster's website:
http://www.crower.com/misc/m_cat.shtml The 50's may be your best bet, they have a series specific for trucks. I'm partial to 40's, sounded great on my 351C. (answered by Scott M on February 09, 8732)
