Q:

how do i get my signal lights and flashers working on 1991 ford explorer?

I have a 1991 ford explorer siganl, lights, and flashers do not work.

I changed the flasher, light bulbs and fuse with no luck.
(asked by phil p on February 11, 4017)

A: you may have a flasher relay under the hood near the front
check to see if it's plugged it ,,tap on it,,it may be sticking..

If this doesn't work than your switch might be bad on the steering column (answered by Vulcan 1 on February 11, 4247)

Q:

Ford Explorer Interior lights remaining on?

The interior lights remain on on my 2000 Ford Explorer. I cannot find the switches on the door or rear lift up door. Has anyone experienced this problem and where are the switches for the doors?
(asked by austin seven on November 16, 2007)

A: First be sure that the light switch is not turninig them on, or the dimmer switch.
On new models the switch for the doors are inside the door. On the door latch.
You will have to open the door trim to have access to the latch.

On the other side, a good mechanic with a good OBDII scanner can also "scan" the doors switches with out opening anything. (answered by Oswaldo P on November 16, 2007)
