Q:

Would a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe be a good first car for a 16 year old?

I am 16 and I really want a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe. It is my dream car. I found one for cheap and I really want to get it, but I'm not sure if it would be a good choice as my first car. So, help? [=
When I said it was cheap, I meant it as that it isn't as much as most 1967's would be.
And I understand that it would most likely take some fixing up. I am all for that.
(asked by Meg on October 16, 2009)

A: I would have to say that it is probably not a good idea. The biggest problem you will have is reliability. Older cars were never as reliable as they are now, and being 42 years old is only going to make that worse. A classic Mustang that is "cheap" is going to cost you in the long run.

Get something a little more modern for your 1st car. There are plenty of years left to own Mustangs, and when you have more money you will be able to afford one that is in good condition. (answered by CJMM on October 16, 2009)

A: as long as ur willing to learn some body repair and how to use bondo properly go for it:) (answered by Karle on October 16, 2009)

Q:

I am looking for a 1967 ford mustang?

I am wanting to buy a 1967 Ford Mustang. I am trying to figure out what exactly I am looking for. I want a fully loaded 67'. What options does a 67' fully loaded mustang have?
I would only look at coupes. No fast backs, or convertables.
What does a 1967 California Special have for options?
(asked by g_kira1 on August 01, 2007)

A: Here you go.
