If you missed this year’s Ford Mustang show put on by the crew at AmericanMuscle. As soon as I was approaching Philly driving down from Northeast Pennsylvania, Mustangs started appearing on the interstate more frequently and I didn’t have to rely on my GPS any longer. I didn’t plan on showing my Mustang since the drive had her covered in bugs and I had a bunch of luggage and random stuff in the backseat as I was headed back to Florida right after the show. When I reached the Media exit where the show was located, I was in a parade of seven Mustangs deep, including a BOSS 302, all headed toward the Delaware Community College. I pulled into the spectator’s lane where I was approached by an AM Staff member asking if I was positive that I didn’t want to enter my car. I politely declined with a little more thought and pulled into the parking lot for spectators which was also filledl with ‘Stangs. com , you missed one hell of a show.

A: You dont really need a VIN.
What are you looking for?
Most companies that specialize in Mustang parts will not need your VIN to order you correct parts.
A couple sites to get you started are http://mustangworld.com and http://corral.net (answered by kalualani on April 03, 2006)
A: I didn't realize that you had to use the V.I.N. to get parts for your car. I thought you just needed the correct year, make, and model. (correct motor is needed sometimes, too)
