NHTSA closes GM, Ford investigations without recalls David Shepardson/ Detroit News Washington Bureau Federal safety regulators ended investigations into more than 500,000 Ford Motor Co. and General Motors Co. vehicles without requiring recalls. NHTSA is also closing a separate nearly two-year-old investigation into 266,000 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon SUVs over complaints that chrome plating on interior door handles could separate from the plastic and cause minor cuts.
What kind of exhaust should I put on my '07 GMC Yukon Denali? Also does an aftermarket exhaust tip matter?

Is the Chevy Tahoe the same as the GMC Yukon?
I am thinking about buying an 07 chevy tahoe, but i also found an 07 gmc yukon for a lower price. I want the tahoe specifically for the look of its front end and grille - stuff like that. I was wondering, will the grille shell, custom grilles, head and taillights, etc of the tahoe fit into place of the yukon without modification? (asked by Matt M on August 03, 2008)
A: It has always been the same since Chevy and GMC were created. Back in the day, GMC's were dressed up Chevy's. They are closer cars now than ever. But, GMC's nowadays are still a thousand or two more than a Chevy. Basically, they are the same cars with different logos. You can even put Yukon Denali parts on a normal GMC Yukon or Chevy Tahoe. Chevrolet does not offer a dressed up Tahoe, but a GMC Yukon with the Denali package is about 6 grand more than a loaded Tahoe. This goes back to what I was saying, GMC has always had a dressier option than the Chevy. The cars are identical part fitting wise. You can mix and match any parts on either car. Good luck. A: They are the same truck, just different trim and lights. I don't know if the grill will switch without any modification at all, but I would imagine any modification would be very minor and no problem for your average person. (answered by HeadTater on August 03, 2008)

Ok, so this dealership is selling a 07 GMC Yukon (not XL or Denali) for $19,900 that is not limited, meaning it doesn't have the leather seats and all that good stuff, but either way it still looks nice. The truck already has 40k miles on it. Even though its a lot of mile for an 07 the truck runs like new and has never ben damaged in any way. Is it possible to get it for $17,000 with a down payment of say $10,000-12,000. Im still doing research that way i wont get ripped off. And yeah fuel costs are high but I plan to drive it everywhere, plus, it gets 22 mpg which is very good considering it's size. (asked by Michel G on February 05, 2705)
