Simiano was driving a 1997 Jeep Cherokee at a high rate over the bridge at 8:25 Wednesday night when he hit the back of a 1995 GMC Jimmy. Ivan Sandoval, 20, of Sunnyside, was driving the Jimmy and was not seriously hurt. The Jimmy rolled and ended upside down, blocking both northbound lanes of the Highway 395 bridge. Pasco police jailed a 29-year-old Kennewick man last night for rear-ending another car on the blue bridge, causing it to flip over, said the Washington State Patrol. Kennewick police reportedly had been chasing Simiano shortly before the wreck.

I have a GMC Jimmy 1995 that would run and idle rough and the check engine light would come on after driving on a highway or the interstate. We tried a computer check, but Autozone's obd2 scanner wouldn't link to the computer.My dad said it feels kind of like it's running rich too.

I'm attempting to disconnect and then replace the ignition on my 1995 gmc jimmy. all the diagrams i looked at show that i have to disconnect the airbags to get to the locking mechanism to get the ignition out is this true or im i doing something wrong? the other thing the diagram shows to take the plastic housing around the steering column i got the bottom off but the top parts have no visible screws how should i take that part of the housing off?(asked by steven s on February 09, 1920)
A: Yes, you have to pull the airbag to get the steering wheel out.

Why is my 1995 GMC Jimmy Having a low idle and stalling when in gear?
My Jimmy runs fine, but when I come to a stop, it will idle really low (sometimes below 500), and sometimes shut off. I heard it could be my ERG valve. If so, where would I find it in my engine?(asked by Dark M on February 09, 9233)
A: There is carbon holding open the pintles in the EGR valve. If you stand in front of the engine the EGR is located at the front of the intake towards the bottom directly in the center. You will have to look carefully because it is somewhat buried. If you look to the right of the AC compressor you will see it. It has an electrical connector on it and has 2 bolts securing it to the manifold. (answered by GSD PAL on January 18, 2008)
