I have a 98 GMC Jimmy and I cant figure out how to reset the computer climate control.Help?

A: I have a 98 GMC JImmy and I pulled my owners manual to look it up...not very clear. Tells how to set the knobs, but that is about it. I would advise calling a GMC dealership and ask for the service dept. They are usually great in helping with things like this. (answered by vaar69 on May 17, 2008)

A: Take a screw driver and wedge it between the rotor and brake pad and compress the piston in as he can so he can get the new brakes in as well. (answered by james d on November 09, 2008)

What could be wrong with my husband's 98 GMC Jimmy? The truck was smoking from the hood and exhaust pipe?

Out of no where the car started smoking from the hood and exhaust pipe. Then the check engine light came on. The car was smoking for about 30 minutes after it died. The car doesn't start and had to get it towed. That's wrong with his baby?

A: probably blown a head gasket, or cracked the block. sorry not gonna be cheap to fix. have it checked out.
