But here is what you do for the DRLs. There is a fuse dedicated to the DRL circuit. Remove it. Look in your owner's manual for the exact fuse. If I remember correctly is is slot 15 or 16 in the fuse panel located on the driver's side of the dash (access by opening driver's door then removing access panel on dash). The fuse supplies power to the DRL circuit and fog lights (which you don't have). So pull the fuse and save it as a spare to use somewhere else.
The green light in the dash for the DRL operation will continue to illuminate normally (and shut off when you turn on the headlights or set the parking brake) but the low-beam bulbs are no longer energized. (answered by boogie_4wheel on February 09, 4469)
