The GMC has a rounded front bumper where the grille and bumper meet. The Chevy has a squared off piece. I don't know about swapping out the top trim piece of the bumper, but I think you will have to replace the front bumper.
The GMC headlights were they meet the grille are more vertical than the Chevy units, so the headlights will need to be swapped out as well.
Because you swapped out the headlights, you need to also swap out for the GMC front fenders; the GMC headlight has more of an angle where they meet the fenders, the Chevy units are more vertical.
So, not just the grille can be swapped, you need to do the whole front body. I'm not sure about the hood, but you might want to plan on it as well just in case.
Lucky you though, all of this stuff will bolt directly to the Chevy chassis because underneath they are the same truck. (answered by boogie_4wheel on July 29, 2008)
