Q:
A: These trucks hold up well, are cheap to fix, and cheap to insure. I am not sure about a 16 yr old driver, but I only pay like $30 a month for insurance on my 85 GMC Sierra Classic. Its hard for them to tear up these trucks, and IF (God forbid) they ever wreck it, they will hold up like a TANK. I own 5 of these trucks, years 78-85. All three of my sons will learn how to drive in one of them, but that is just my opinion. (answered by Kalighe on November 20, 2006)
A: It would depend on your location as well as the insurance company as to what it would cost to insure. Now the disadvantages would be not having a back seat to bring any riders other then 2 along with you and it would also use more gas. But the advanteages are that you would have a bed to haul with and would have tow capability depending on what motor it has. What year/drivetrain is it? Don't take it the wrong way but it might have to much power for you to control at all times. (answered by Brandon B on November 19, 2006)Q:
