The recall affects owners of the Accord model sold from 2008 to 2010, and is part of a worldwide recall involving 2. DUBAI // Honda is recalling more than 2,000 of some of its Accord coupe models due to a fault in the automatic transmission that could stall the engine during gear changes. He said Honda in the UAE had not received any complaints from customers, but decided to implement the recall as a precaution following complaints in Japan and the US. "We have about 2,097 vehicles in the UAE affected by this," said Arijit Basu, the general manager of sales for Honda Middle East. Honda said no injuries or deaths have been reported related to this issue.

when do I need to take my Honda Accord 2008 to regular service?

I have a Honda Accord 2008 and I purchased exactly 1 year ago and I am rountinly changing the oil (service). when do i need to take the car to regular service? is there yearly maintance service required? or certain mileage service?

A: i used to work in a service department for hondas.. and hondas have oil changes done at 3,500 miles or 6 months and then they have B service which is done every 7,500 miles i belive and then theres the c service which is done every 15,000 and theres the 30,000 mile service which is a tune up and then theres 60,000 another tune up and 90,000 which is the big tune up. the b and c service arent as important as the tune ups.. but you could always call the honda service department and ask them.. how many miles does your car have? A: You should have received a warranty manual when you purchased the car. Assuming that there was still a valid warranty on the car at the time of purchase. In that manual it will outline what services you need to have performed and at what mileage. Check your owners manual sometimes they are in there. Hope this helps! (answered by Adam on May 09, 2009)

2008 Honda Accord EX Automatic v4 Sedan Gear Shift Problem?

Hi I my car is Honda Accord 2008 Automatic v4 Sedan. After starting the car when I shift gear from Park to Reverse sometimes it makes a jerky noise - the gear shifts from Park to Reverse with a jerk. Sometimes the jerk is very strong and sometimes no so strong. This does not happen regularly. At other times gear shift is smooth. Is this a problem or the car is designed like that?
