Q:
A: I have an '03 Accord EX with 18" rims on it. It fits up to 19's, but it's tight. The 18's are bumpier with really low profile tires (225/40/18 - this is what I have) You could get a 5 % thicker profile tire for a less bumpy ride, but it doesn't look that good. 17's are a perfect balance of looks and perfomance, they give you near stock ride quality and better traction from a wider tire. My 18's are 8 inches wide, and stick out 1/2" in the front and 1/4" in the rear. 7.5" wide rims won't stick out, but 7" are what you should strive for. Hope this helps, if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to email me! (answered by cbrdgt. on June 02, 2008)
A: You can put up to 18" rides on the stock suspension without running into any problems, if you go any bigger you'll start scraping it against the fender when you make a turn or when you hit a bump. Stay with 18" at the most, it's probably the most popular wheel size for the Honda Accord's, i see a lot of 17" rims too on the Accord's, so i'd say those are the 2nd most popular. Some people prefer 17" rims cause it will be lighter and still look really good. (answered by G35_Tuner on June 01, 2008)Q:

A: when you change the diameter of the rim to a larger diameter you need to decrease the sidewall profile of the tires so you don't have a problem with the car "bottoming out".
the best solution is one of personal preference for style.

they have a good selection of rims and you can actually use their site to see what the different rims would look like on your car.
you can call or email them for advice on what tires would work best on the rims of that size for your car as that's what their business is all about.
hope that helps (answered by honda guy on June 23, 2008)
