Honda is readying the new 2012 Honda Civic for Europe with plans to introduce the four-door hatchback (the only European variant) model at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2011. The previous generation Civic was also just available as a hatchback (two-door and four-door) in the European market, and was a blend of Civic and Fit underpinnings. The hatchback model has been missing from the Canadian market since 2005, when the SiR three-door departed with the introduction of the eighth generation coupe and sedan. How can I make my 2002 Honda Civic Coupe look and drive more sporty on not too crazy a budget?
I have a 2002 Honda Civic Coupe Ex, white, not a scratch. I'm looking for some ways to juice up its power and make it look a little more sporty. (purchased this car for my son as a gift for finishing grad school. Would like it to appeal to a 24 year old male.) Any ideas? I'm not on the biggest budget but want to do what I can. Thanks! A: As far as looks, you can lower it some and get aftermarket wheels for it.
For power, you can install aftermarket parts like a cold air intake, headers, and exhaust.
Either way, you're spending some good money. Doing both will cost you a lot. (answered by Peter L on March 22, 2009)

A: these parts should be the same, but go to an auto body paint and supply store and buy them there. they are aftermarket parts, but fit pretty good. i just bought 2 fenders, a hood, right headlight, and left turn signal lens for a '95 Civic coupe and paid $300 for all. Im planning on buying a 2009 Honda Civic coupe, but my parents say that the insurance for a coupe is more expensive, and thus they prefer I get a sedan. theyre probably right, but im wondering how much the difference is.
